Update Swiss PLG Activities 2003
Dear colleagues,
We all wish you a good start in 2003, and look forward to a new and no doubt challenging year. After the successful Inauguration Meeting at the end of last August in Montreux, we would like to announce the forthcoming Swiss-PLG Meetings for 2003.
Spring Meeting in April:
You are kindly invited to join our 2nd Swiss-PLG meeting, planned between the 8th and 10th of April 2003 in Interlaken. The topic of the two days meeting is “Business Development in a difficult economic environment”. In order to give our members more time to network, we have extended the Spring Meeting to two full days and will additionally organise 1-2 workshops, designed to allow more time exchanging experience.
International Pharma Licensing Symposium 2003 (IPLS):
We are proud to announce that after Tokyo in 2001, the International Pharma Licensing Symposium will be held mid-September 2003 in Europe, and this time in Switzerland! More information about both top events will follow soon. Make sure you have reserved both dates in your agenda, the Spring Meeting and the IPLS!
Swiss-PLG Membership:
Within the first 12 Months, over 106 Managers have become Members of the Swiss-PLG. This result is far ahead of our initial expectations and shows the importance of such an organisation and encourages us to continue our efforts. The Board has furthermore decided to extend all Memberships applied in 2002 until 30th of June 03. For those companies, which would like to join in the coming weeks the Swiss-PLG, we offer the remaining 6 months of Membership for half of the price. This half-year Member-ship will expire in the end of June 03 and offers the same rights as a full one year Membership.
Training course:
For those of you, who are interested in an Introductory Training course in Licensing & Business Development, please find attached information about a training course, organised by the British PLG from the 10th – 12th of March 2003.
